Infiltrated Of The Marine Base! Time To Save Zoro!

Talia felt the burn of the sun as the few salty drops of sweat on her forehead was going down her brow. She was running; keeping a steady pace to the Marine base. Why was she running? Well because of a certain straw hat that had running off without them and it would be best to find him before he started trouble.

How can I pay him back for saving me, if he will always just run's off!

The strawberry-blond girl shot a glance over her shoulder finding the pink spot further back than the last time she checked. "Come on Koby! You're falling behind!" She called looking back fully back at the road again. She only got a reply of a hoarse voice; so she couldn't understand what he called back. Talia shocked her head not comprehend why Luffy had to run off by himself.

Who knows what kind of idée that brain of his can come up with?

"Noting good, I bet."She muttered to herself, before increasing her pace. I have already been a victim to one of his great ideas… Talia thought, remembering her little fly trip earlier today.

"Koby! I'll run up ahead- I'll see you there!" She didn't know if she heard Koby call to her "Yeah, sure!" Or "Hay, wait!" Before she was off. It was not long until she saw the familiar green big metal doors. She came to the same wall, dropping her bag; thinking it would only get in the way. Talia leaped up and grasping the top of the wall. She pulled herself up halfway. The strawberry-blond eyes widen and her body freezing in horror and in bewilderment at what she saw. Luffy was practically flying off in to the sky.

Talia closed her gapping mouth, replacing it with a bored look thinking dryly to herself.

I will never get used to this guy, will I?

Throwing her legs over the wall, now sitting on the edge, the girl frowned a little. "And where is that Straw hat off to now?" She muttered leaping down, landing on her feet a small cloud of dirt lifted from the ground.

"Hay! It's you!" A familiar gruff voice called, Talia looked over meeting the swordsman glare. She just gave a shrug walking over to him. "Don't tell me you here to convince me to go with that guy and to join his crew? Because my mind is already set…"

"Well damn, I guess you found me out," She said sarcastically, standing next to him. "I guess, I'll den just help bunk you out from here instead."

"W-Wait! You can't!" Talia ignored him as she stared to try and untie his ropes.

"Trust me, you don't want to be here, I'd explain now if we had the time and 'that' we don't have.." She grumbles, having troubles with the rope. Damn, it's tight…! "Speaking of little time, why'd Straw hat flew off? Trying to find something to cut thesedamn things off?"

I could use mine, but-!…Hay what was that crash? Eh, probably nothing…

"No, not really…" Zoro replied. "He went into the base to find that brat so he can tell him where he hid my swords…"

Swords? Dose that means he uses a two swords?

"What! He's in the base already!?"

Talia jumped, hearing the unexpected voice. Looking over to the wall to find the pink haired boy, she was sad to say she had forgotten about him. Ooppps! After his scream he had fell over the wall, he didn't look hurt as he simply dusted himself off and rushed over to them to help with the ropes.

"What took you so long, Koby?" She asked as the younger boy began to work on the ropes on the other side. "Are you that out of shape!" Talia gave a skeptical looked at him. Then she added mumbling. "How many brakes did you take…?"

"I did tell you to wait! A-And I did not stop for any brakes!" The pink hair exclaimed.

Oh, so it was the second one after all…

"Oi! If you guys help me, they're going to kill you!" Snapped Zoro.

"You shouldn't be arrested in the first place! I can't stand those Marines…" Koby said in a sternly voice, it was surprising hearing that ton on him. "I'm going to become a real Marine! Just like Luffy's going to be king of the pirates!"

"Huh, you're joking, right!" Zoro snorted.

Suddenly something felt wrong, Talia blood felt cold. She wide her eyes in shock, without a second thought she lunged at Koby; who gaped I surprise.

"Watch out!" Talia barely got that out, when a second later she felt a burning pain in her shoulder, she wasn't even sure if she did hear the loud gunshot echo through the air.

"Talia!" Koby cried as he saw her fall to the ground, she winced from the pain holding on to her shoulder, feeling the red liquid coming through her palm and fingers.

I wasn't fast enough…a-and can I really risking using it now?!

The boy gawked at her before shakily going to his fetes, rushing over to her. "Talia! Talia! Are you alright?!" She gave a short laugh at his questioned before she hissed in pain again.

"I'm f-fine" She hissed. "Go and until Zoro! I'll be there in a second…"

"What are you saying? Your shot! Let me help you!" Koby stretched to her wounded shoulder but his hand stopped as he met with Talia's glaring eyes.

"I will not break my promise to the straw hat. I keep my promises. And! We don't have the time-to worry about this!" She said, forcing herself to sit up. "Besides it's not that bad," Koby looked at her with worried eyes. He hesitated, until he nodded going to the swordsman. She didn't listen what the two behind her was saying, as she concentrated on the wound.

Come on! Concentrated, you can do it!

Talia could feel the metal object slowly go through her flesh until she had the warm metal object in her palm, through it all she had bet her lip, to not scream. She put the bullet away, careful not to make the two behind her see it. Talia shakily stood up, facing the two and walking to try to get off the ropes that held Zoro, not taking in any of the glances they gave her. Talia still went back to work on the ropes and Koby slowly follow suit.

"The Marines will be here soon. We must get these ropes off."

"No! Don't bother!"Zoro snapped at the two."They'll be here any moment! You only end up killed!"

"You're right," Koby said to Talia. "Then we should hurry!"

"Are you even listening to me?!"The swordsman glared at the two."I can't go anywhere! As long as I stay like this for a month, they'll set me free!"

He still believes that Helmeppo will keep his promise.

"If you stay, you won't be here for the end 'that' month! They are planning to execute you tomorrow!" Talia exclaimed, narrowing her gaze at the swordsman. She then went back to work to the ropes, not looking at him as she spoke."That, Helmeppo, he lied to you! He was never had a thought to letting you go!"

"What?" Zoro merely looked shocked, gawked at her. "You-You're lie! That brat gave is word-!

"Talia's right!" Koby exclaimed, backing her up. "That's why Luffy hit Helmeppo! And Talia threw water at the guy! Because he was bragging about it to the whole town that he was going to execute you!"

"W-What? What was that-!"

What? You're taking his words over ours?" Talia asked in an incredulous tone. "The jerk was proudly proclaiming to the town that he was just going to execute you, because he was bored! So Luffy hit him, before I got the basted."

"Listen!" She glanced over to Koby as Zoro looked at him as well. "The Marines will never let you guys off! Please, after we set you free, help Luffy! I won't force you to become pirates, it's not for me force you! However, he saved me!"

Talia didn't know much of Koby, only of his dream to become a Marine. But other than that she didn't know much of their relationship of Koby and Luffy friendship. But it seemed she wasn't the only one who owned Luffy for their life. Luffy maybe a troublemaker and bit of an idiot. But he was a kind soul who had helped her in her time in need and he had been there for Koby too.

"Hold it right there!"

"Damn, we're too late…" Talia muttered, turned to see a whole lot of Marines lined up not too far from them, and guns, a lot of gun. And they were pointed all that at three people, them.

"By the treason you have committed against me…" A base voice stated, and coming behind the group came a very tall, intimidating man with white-blond hair. He was wearing a large billowing coat like a cape. But that not what catch her attention, no, that would be the steel jaw and his right hand that's replaced by a steel axe. "You will all be executed right here."

"Oi, Luffy!" The straw hat turned to Talia; that still had a small smile. "How about we make a deal?"

"A deal?" Repeated Luffy while making a funny expression.

Those words echoed through the girl's mind…

They had a deal…

I promised to do all with in my power to help him recruit Zoro…I haven't really done that much have I? I am afraid to use my power, of what may happen next. But I don't want Koby or Zoro to get hurt, so if I must, I'll use my power to protect them…

Talia bite her lip again opening up the tear once more. She moved standing in front of Koby and Zoro. She took a hold of her wounded shoulder taking a tight hold on so more blood came out spreading through her clothing.

"Oi! What are you doing?" She wasn't sure if Zoro couldn't see her wound or not, or that he was protesting to her walking in front of him, she assumed maybe both.

"I'm protecting you two! What does it look like?" She said sternly as if it was obvious. "Besides, I do not fear a captain who hiding behind his troops!" Talia spat, glaring dagger at the Marine captain, ignoring the two behind her.

"Ha! You guys did some interesting things." He said, brushing Talia off like a small bug on his shoulder, Morgan seemed only interested in the swordless swordman behind Talia. "Did the three of you and that straw hat intend to start a revolution? Roronoa Zoro, I've heard your name before, but you shouldn't underestimate me. Compare to my strength, you're garbage!"

Talia growled under her breath. He will regret that..I'll do what I must do to keep these guys safe. Even if I must use my Devil fruit!

"AIM! Seeing the men start aiming at them, she narrowed her eyes. I need to concentrate, if am a second off..I'm dead. "FIRE!"

She started to attractive her power to- but a familiar sounded like rubber stretching, a sound she heard earlier this morning. It made her flinch as someone had step in front of her making her stop her powers as the guns has fired. In front of her was Luffy and he momentarily looked like a porcupine. She only stared in shock, not even take in her wound as it was welling up more blood in the fabrics of her clothes.

"S-Straw hat-!?" Talia gawked, wondering where the hell he came from.

"That won't work!" He yelled, his body stretching out, sending the bullets practically flew to where the once they came from. Then laughed, "I told you, I'm strong!"

"You…? What kind of human are you!" Zoro's disbelief voice was heard behind her. He must still be in disbelief by seeing what Luffy just did.

"…Well at least I'm not the only one thinking being made of robber is weird." She stated.

Luffy turned grinning. "I'm Luffy. The man who will become the king of the Pirates! He then facing her and had that 'look' he usually had on him. "Wow! What happened to you? Did you trip or something?"

"Wha-! What the hell makes you think I'd get a wound like this, by tripping!?" Exclaimed Talia her fingertips twitching. "And it's not that bad-!…?"Now taking the time to look down at her shoulder and finally knowledge her wound was bleeding heavily. Covering her shoulder with her hand fast she thought.

Damn, I got carless…

The swordsman gave her a look as Luffy grind sniggering to himself. "He he he, you're weird!"

"You're one to talk!" Both Talia and Zoro snapped.

"By the way, I got your katana!" The straw hat hold up three swords in front of him. "Which one is it? I couldn't tell' so I grabbed all three."

"All three are mine." Zoro stated plainly. "Because I use three swords."

He uses three swords?! Wait, Where does he hold the third?

The straw hat looked past the confused girl and looked at the Marines with a grin still glued on. "You know, by resisting these Marines with us will make you an outlaw! Or would you rather die here?"

"You're the son of the devil himself." Zoro muttered just smirking. "Fine! I'd rather be a pirate than die here. I'll accept your offer and become a pirate!"

"Yoshi! I got a new crewmate!"Luffy cheered putting his hands in the air. "Alright! Now I have two!"

The last statement snapped Talia out of her thoughts, glaring over to Luffy. "You did not just count me in just now. I have told you. I. have. not. joined. you. yet."

Aww, but you said…"

"I said I would think about it!"

"Hay! Will you two just shut up and untie me!" Zoro yelled, to the two off them. Luffy nodded going to work one of the ropes, while Talia remained having an eye on the Marines that got ready to attack them again.

Luffy pout as he was fussing with one of the knots. "That's weird, the knot got tighter…"

"Just hurry up and untie one!" Zoro said rashly. "I can handle the rest!"

Talia glanced over the two and back to the Marines that had already charge to them. "AH! No time!" She cried, rushing to where Luffy was working, she swiftly draws her dagger from its holster and hurriedly cut the ropes. She picked up on someone say in disbelieve."You had your knife all this time?!" before cutting though the ropes freeing Zoro.

Everything happened so fast and unexpectedly she heard Koby screamed in horror, Talia on the other hand was surprises that the swordsman had abruptly went missing and then heard clang of swords meeting swords. Turing around Zoro had managed to drew his three swords and block all of Marines blades.

"Whoa, cool!" Luffy cried as Koby as gapping in amazement and Talia was speechless.

Okay, that was kind of bad ass…wait? Has he one of his swords handles in his mouth?

"Make one move and you're all dead!" The three wilder swordsman threaded, the troop of Marines; who was looked terrified and ready at treas. Zoro looked at Luffy fully giving a serious look. "I'll become a pirate! But let me tell you one thing, I will always follow my own ambitions!"

"Ambitions?"

"To become the world's greatest swordsman! If you do anything that would cause me to abandon my ambitions…You will end your own life on my sword!"

"World greatest swordsman, huh? That's great! As the part of my crew, I wouldn't expect any less from you."

"Heh,"

"Hay! Sorry to interrupt but,…"Lifted her hand up, Talia pointed over to an very unhappy Morgan, who screamed the Marines to attack and stop standing around and execute us. All the Marines filched hearing him call.

It was then a smirking Luffy, pulled up his leg."Zoro, duck!" Luffy yelled, already stretching his leg. Seeing what Luffy was doing Talia moved out off the way fast. "Gomu gomu no…Leg sweeper!"

With that Luffy's leg stretched out knocking the Maries that Zoro's had blocked, they pretty much went over the other side of courtyard.

"Amazing!" She heard Koby cry in excitement a few meters away. During this she put away her dagger into its place.

Zoro simply looked back at Luffy as his leg snapped back into place. "Mind telling me what you are?"

"I'm a rubber man!" Luffy smiled broadly.

"Why do I have the feeling you say that a lot…?" Talia sighed, rolling her eyes. She could feel a headache coming, but then again it could be the loss of blood.

"This is the captain's order!" Morgan roared. "Whoever who just complained… take your gun shoot yourselves in the head! This military doesn't need useless weaklings as you! "

"What's wrong with these Marines?" Zoro muttered, still having a sword handle in his mouth. That quested was never answer for Luffy dashed off charging at Morgan; who blocked his first attack with his axe hand.

"Luffy! Defeat those Marines!" Shouted koby after him.

"Trash with no rank is no match for me! I am the Captain of the Marines!" Morgen troughed off his military jacked as he added."Axe Hand Morgan!

How did our hero respond? "I'm Luffy! Nice to meet you." Talia resisted to face palm herself.

And Morgan seemed to careless as he just strike after Luffy; the attack missed lucky. Luffy kicked Morgen in the face with both of his fetes. But it only phased him for a minute, before he chopped down after Luffy with his axe. Luffy dodged getting an opening to kick Morgan in the face again.

Talia used her free hand placing it on her four head, mumbled. "Damn." She was getting a little dizzy, so she black out on the fight, until shacking it off. She continued to watch over the fight; Luffy seemed to have the upper hand as he had grabbed Morgan by the front of his shirt and was punching him.

"Wait!" Someone called all of the sudden. Talia look over to find Helmeppo pointed a gun at Koby head.

Him again…

She felt her brow twitch. While Luffy barely look over, before he just continues to punching the fallen Marine captain. "You idiot! I told you to wait!" Helmeppo exclaimed at Luffy; who finally stopped and looked to Helemeppo and seeing him pointed a gun at Koby; who glanced terrified at the gun. "If you want this boy to survive, then don't move! If you move, I'll shoot!"

…You know what? I had enough of this punk. I'll use my Devil power just so I can shut him up. But seeing that is so many people around. I should only make sure to use my power from the inside.

"-no pulse…" Talia mumbled, she moved her hand slowly reach to her dagger, careful not to grab the Marine captain's son attention. Taking a firm hold of her dagger and thought to herself. She could feel the strength grow in her legs.

You can do it…you have done this before…

Talia took a short breath, and then she went for it. She reached him in seconds. So fast, in fact, that Helemeppo didn't even have time to react. Putting her dagger to his throat which made him to yelp, made him stiffing on the spot. "I would drop the gun now if I were you…," Talia muttered cold. "Or else your body is going to miss a head."

"T-Talia!?" Koby exclaimed –asked, shocked to see her suddenly there, behind Helmeppo.

"H-How!? How d-did you!? I just saw you-" Helmeppo shuttering got cut off by Talila's dagger getting closer to his neck. He whimpered a cry that died in his throat, seemingly seemed scared to scream, feeling the cold steal closing in on his throat.

"The gun if you please…," She insisted, the Marine captain's son immediate let the gun in his hand fall to the dirt, his hands then in the air, his face pale in fear. Seeing the gun gone from his head, Koby backed away and sighing in relief and fell to his knees. "…now what do you have to say?"

"D-Don't k-kill m-me! I-I'll pay you-!"

Taila narrowed her eye, frowning. "WRONG AWNSER!" She snapped, punching Helmeppo in the side of his face with her free hand causing him to fly through the air and landing in a group of Marines; they fell over in a pile with Helmeppo in the front top. Talia sheathed her dagger, putting her hands on her hips "The right answers is the following; I'm sorry for pulling a gun at Koby! I'm sorry for lying to Zoro and punished him for something that was clearly your fault! And finally being a freaking jerk to a little girl!" Talia took a breath after yelling that in one breath. She looked over to Koby ignoring the gawking face he was making. "You okay?"

He still looked stunned but he then finally nodded.

"Awesome! Nice punch, Talia!" She heard Luffy cheered, laughing. Looking to the straw hat she saw him grinning over to her but he failed to notice Morgan being behind Luffy, axle arm hoisted over his head, about to cut down the clueless straw hat. Talia was about to call out to Luffy, but before she got the chance. Morgan was the one cut down, spurted blood and fell back down by a certain swordsman. Zoro standing not far away still having his swords drawn out.

Talia just sat on the ground, sitting Indian style, closing her eyes and her head lowed. "Talia are you okay!?" Koby asked worriedly, kneed down beside her. Talia cracked one scarlet eye opened, looking at the boy.

"Yea, I'm fine." She smiled slightly. "I'm just a bit dizzy…from the blood loss that's all…"
